Wander Around is the internet as a walkable city — 196,067 real websites as buildings in a free multiplayer browser world — with a substrate AI that is composed, not trained living inside it. Built solo by psiloceyeben (Ben Horn) at the Prometheus7 Institute. No GPU anywhere in the stack.

Architecture innovations
Recursive holon substrate — 10×10×10 addressable cells, each finished holon one cell of the next; Tree-of-Life-routed cleanup keeps recall at 0.98 fifteen levels deep. Memory, index, and computation as one substance.
Compositional tokenization — vocabulary of 8,725 categorical feature tokens. Each entity becomes 11 tokens. ~800× reduction in embedding-table cost vs. atomic-identity tokenization.
Parallax dual-embedding — two embedding tables produce a parallax pair per token; disparity encodes internal 3D depth. The 2D-encodes-3D theorem operationalized inside transformer attention.
Hypernetwork parameter expansion — prototyped. 1.43M-param hypernet generates the body weights of an 86M-parameter effective transformer (60× compression).
